Therapist (Under Supervision)
Board Supervisor: Chandrea Washington, LPC, LPC-S, DBH (c), MHA (c), LSSGB
I am a therapist under supervision with a Master’s degree in Human Relations, with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from the University of Oklahoma. I specialize in crisis counseling and supporting individuals—particularly adolescents ages 11 to 17—who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, or acute mental health challenges.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as techniques of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and crisis intervention strategies. I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can stabilize, process their experiences, and develop effective coping skills.
I strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where teens feel seen, heard, and understood. By building trust and empowering young people with tools for emotional regulation, communication, and self-awareness, I help them build resilience and confidence as they grow into adulthood.
I am deeply committed to helping clients navigate moments of crisis with compassion, clarity, and care. Whether addressing suicidality, self harm, or emotional overwhelm, I work collaboratively to build safety, increase resilience, and empower clients toward long-term healing and hope.
It is the policy of FSC Kids to treat all clients and not to discriminate with regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or disability.
