FSC Kids Services
» Child-Centered Play Therapy
Utilizes play and the therapeutic relationship to provide a safe, consistent therapeutic environment in which a child can experience full acceptance, empathy, and understanding from the therapist and process inner experiences and feelings through play and symbols.
» Theraplay®
Therapist guides the parent and child through playful games, challenging activities, and nurturing interactions. Theraplay® helps children experience previously difficult interactions in new ways, helps overcome fear and increase trust, and creates a positive change in a child’s sense of self.
» Sandtray Therapy
Sandtray Therapy is a technique using miniature objects and figurines to express a person’s understanding of events, feelings, or even themselves. This type of therapy can be used across the lifespan for individuals, couples, groups, and family therapy.
» Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®)
TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.
» Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR therapy can help kids find relief from the yucky experiences that young brains have a hard time making sense of. Mixed-up feelings and thoughts do not feel good in bodies, minds, and hearts and occupy kids from experiencing the present. EMDR can help kids by making those feelings smaller or even getting rid of them.

» Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT)
CBPT was developed to be developmentally appropriate by integrating play. It utilizes play and play-based interventions to help children change their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors by restructuring each in a developmentally appropriate
manner.
