Clinical Interns

Clinical interns are graduate-level trainees currently completing a master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a related clinical field. As part of their formal training, they complete required practicum and internship hours at approved off-site clinics like ours, where they provide counseling services while developing core competencies in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ethical practice.

Interns do not practice independently; their work is closely supervised by fully licensed clinicians who review cases, monitor clinical documentation, and provide ongoing consultation to ensure high standards of care. This structured, layered supervision allows clients to receive thoughtful, evidence-informed support while interns continue advancing toward professional licensure.
