Meet Emily

I believe that play is an essential part of a human interaction. From a young age, play is how we learn boundaries and social skills. However, play can also be used to process trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and much more. Play therapy can help build trust and attachment with your child, while the both of you learn more helpful behaviors and how to express your emotions, and exploring the world around us. I encourage a child’s caregivers to take an active role in the therapeutic process. After all, you know your child better than I ever will!

Whether guiding clients through trauma recovery with EMDR or fostering communication and emotional expression through play therapy techniques, I am committed to empowering you and your family to navigate life’s obstacles and cultivate meaningful connections.
