Meet Jordan

As a child therapist, I believe all kids are good kids. There is no such thing as a bad kid, but sometimes kids struggle with big feelings and behaviors. Sometimes families go through big changes and/or stressful life events that make it difficult to bounce back. That’s where I can help! From a strengths-based approach, I help your child see what a resilient person they are! As a therapist trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, I think it is important for a child to have a safe space to tell their story. I believe in the power of play and utilize playful approaches to allow children the space to process their thoughts and feelings, as well as gain useful life skills. I strongly believe in a collaborative approach, so I work closely with a child’s system, such as their caregivers and school, to best support them in the treatment process. Families of all kinds are welcome in my office.

As a parent myself, I understand the stressors with pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. Therefore, in addition to my work with children, I work with adults: parents, caregivers, and women in the perinatal/postpartum period.
