Meet Nancy

As a play therapist, I believe that play can be used to help families and children find solutions. Play is our first language. Play can build trust, regulate emotions, and help us express thoughts and feelings that might otherwise remain hidden. I believe that play therapy works best when parents/caregivers and families are actively involved in the treatment process. I believe in a holistic and systemic treatment in working with children and the adults in their lives.

In addition to my work with children, I enjoy working with adults. Whether it be a parent needing help in their parenting journey or an adult working through traumatic events of their past, I hope to give everyone I work with the support needed to facilitate change. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based treatment modality that can be used in conjunction with play therapy with children or with adults.
