Meet Hannah

As a Marriage and Family Therapy Candidate, I believe that the home is where we first learn how to navigate the world. The relationships we experience early in life shape how we connect with others, regulate emotions, and respond to life’s challenges. Because of this, I am passionate about helping children, adults, and families build healthier relationships that foster lasting growth.

I enjoy incorporating play-based approaches into my work with children because play is a child’s natural language and a powerful way for them to communicate their inner world. Through play, children can express emotions, process experiences, build trust, strengthen relationships, and develop coping skills within a safe and supportive environment. I believe children make the greatest progress when parents and caregivers are active participants in the therapeutic process.

My approach is also informed by Attachment Theory and Bowen Family Systems Theory, viewing each individual within the context of the family and other systems that have influenced their story. I believe that connection should come before correction, and I strive to help caregivers understand the meaning behind their child’s behaviors while equipping them with practical tools to nurture emotional regulation, resilience, and secure relationships. Our work together often begins with a genogram and life timeline to help us better understand your story, explore the relationships and experiences that have shaped you, identify patterns, and recognize strengths that can support meaningful, lasting change.

With a background in psychiatric nursing and an active nursing license since 2020, I bring a holistic perspective to therapy. My background in psychiatric nursing has deepened my appreciation for the connection between emotional, relational, and physical well-being.

For those who desire it, I am able to thoughtfully integrate faith into the therapeutic process in a way that honors personal values and beliefs.

It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you pursue greater connection, healing, and hope.
